The 75-year-old property sales company is now handling real estate listings north of the Red River.

“We are thrilled to offer those looking to buy or sell in Oklahoma the same great service we have long been known for in North Texas,” President and CEO Chris Kelly said in a statement.

Ebby Halliday operates out of two dozen offices in North Texas, including close to the Oklahoma border in Grayson County.

“2020 has been a significant year of growth as we open new offices in Cedar Hill, Prosper and Forney, and as we expand into the Oklahoma market to serve the needs of our valued clients,” Kelly said.

This property includes 16.5 acres of the first president’s land. The home was rebuilt as a 21st-century recreation of the historic estate. Your first impression will be a good one as you enter from the stone-lined driveway into the Federal-style residence. Terraces with river views are accessible from many rooms, and a circular room offers views of both the Potomac and gardens. There’s plenty of modern entertainment packed inside, an indoor resistance pool, spa, steam room, sauna, home gym, 15-seat movie theater and more. Aside from the main home, there is a guest house, reconstituted carriage house with four car spaces and a studio apartment, and a waterfront dock. English Boxwood and rose gardens were recreated with inspiration from old blueprints.

Study: Solar farms reduce home values – News – The Herald News, Fall River, MA

PROVIDENCE — Opponents of the development of large solar installations in rural and suburban Rhode Island argue that sprawling tracts of photovoltaic panels mar the character of their communities.

They worry that in many cases construction of the industrial energy projects mean clear-cutting acres of woodlands or building in open fields, leading to a loss of prime green space.

Now, it looks like they have something else to be concerned about.

After analyzing thousands of property sales in Rhode Island and Massachusetts over a decade and a half, economists at the University of Rhode Island have concluded that solar development is having a negative impact on nearby home values.

Corey Lang, associate professor of natural resource economics, and doctoral student Vasundhara Gaur found that prices of homes within a mile of a solar installation declined by 1.7%. Homes within a tenth of a mile went down by 7%.
