Real estate company knocks down reports Tom Brady is closing in on $7.5 million mansion after Jeter puts Tampa rental up for sale

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady appeared to make himself at home with his new team after tossing five touchdowns last weekend.

Finding a permanent home for his family, however, may not be going as smoothly.

The New York Post on Thursday knocked down reports that the 43-year-old Brady is reportedly interested in a $7.5 million Tampa Bay-area mansion located in a private community.

Brady and his family have been living in Derek Jeter’s mansion in the Tampa area since April when he signed with the Buccaneers but Jeter is in the process of selling the home.

According to TMZ, the six-time Super Bowl champ is in the later phases of negotiations of the custom-built five-bedroom home in a gated community in Clearwater, Florida. The site reported that he could close at some point this week.

The 8,548 square feet home has 5 full baths and 3 half baths and

QVC puts call center in Chesapeake up for sale or lease; employees to keep working from home

QVC, the television-based home-shopping retailer, has put its 52,911-square-foot Chesapeake call center on the market. Its employees have been and will continue to work from home permanently.

The COVID-19 pandemic pushed Qurate Retail Group, which owns QVC, to rapidly shift to a work-from-home model, something that was in the works before the global health crisis that led to business closures and social distancing rules. The company’s entire U.S. Customer Service & Experience division, with few exceptions, will keep working from home indefinitely.

Qurate has about 18,000 workers across the United States. The company wouldn’t say how many people had worked at the Chesapeake location, saying only that a small number of on-site operations staff were affected by the shift. The company told workers about the permanent shift to work-from-home in July.

The office at 1553 River Birch Run North had once housed a large number of people. As of early

UPDATE 2-ProSieben puts online drugstore Windstar Medical up for sale – sources

(Adds further asset sale)

FRANKFURT, Sept 30 (Reuters) – German TV broadcaster ProSiebenSat.1 has put its online drugstore Windstar Medical up for sale as it streamlines its technology investments, people close to the matter said.

The profitable retailer of over-the-counter drugs could be valued at around 250 million euros ($293 million), including debt, in a potential deal, the people said.

Non-binding offers for the unit are due shortly, with mostly private equity groups expected to show interest in the start-up with some 100 employees, they said.

ProSieben said it announced in March 2020 it would examine all existing investments to see whether there are clear synergies with its core business, adding that it would assess in each case whether it is the best owner for individual companies.

ProSieben, under new management, is looking to raise money from asset sales after the reign of former CEO

Simon Reeve puts his huge two-acre Gold Coast home up for sale

Dumped Sunrise presenter Simon Reeve has put his sprawling Gold Coast property up for sale days after suing Channel Seven for up to $1 million.

Reeve was flown to Sydney from the two-acre estate in well-to-do Tallai every week just to read the sport news on Weekend Sunrise.

The arrangement, which cost Seven $250,000 a year in flights and luxury hotels, persisted for years until the NSW-Queensland border shut in March.

Reeve spent three months in limbo at his Gold Coast home absent from TV screens before Seven finally cut him loose on June 25.

Man puts himself up for sale on Facebook after struggling on dating apps

A man listed himself on Facebook in an attempt to find a girlfriend after failing to find love on dating apps.

Alan Clayton, 30, described himself as “free” and in “good condition” on the items for sale page – an unusual attempt which has left his inbox brimming with prospective matches.

The lorry driver, from Kettering, has only been on one date so far, which sadly didn’t work out, but hopes the novel approach will attract more Northants-based singletons.

After seeing his friends settle down and get married, he now wants this for himself, and admits he hasn’t had a girlfriend since school.

He put himself out there on social media. (SWNS)

Speaking about his decision, Clayton explains: “I’ve tried conventional apps like Tinder and Plenty of Fish but nothing has really happened so I went to sign up to e-Harmony.

“They asked me lots of questions and I

A lonely single man looking for love has been inundated with offers of a date after he advertised himself on an ‘Items for Sale’ Facebook page.

Alan Clayton, 30, from Kettering, listed himself as ‘free’ and in a ‘good/used condition’ after becoming frustrated with his lack of success on traditional dating apps.

The lorry driver decided to take matters into his own hands by posting on the local classified ads page on Facebook, and was amazed when his inbox was flooded with messages from women across the UK.

So far it has only led to one date, which unfortunately didn’t work out, but Alan is hopeful his unorthodox approach will help him find the love of his life.

The bachelor, who has not had a proper girlfriend since school, says
