Wildfire flames engulfed part of California’s wine country, prompting widescale evacuations of the area.

Hundreds of homes in Napa and Sonoma counties were evacuated as the Grass Fire continues to spread throughout more than 2,500 acres. As of Monday morning, the blaze was 0% contained.
The fire started north of St. Helena, California, roughly 75 miles north of San Francisco, on Sunday morning and has been growing at a “dangerous rate of spread,” according to officials with Cal Fire. At least 2,268 structures are in the path of the fire, including a hospital, which had to evacuate 55 patients.
“For the safety of our patients and associates, Adventist Health St. Helena is temporarily suspending emergency and hospital care, and all patients will be transferred, due to the Glass Fire.
