Administrators restart break-up of one of Britain’s biggest care home providers

Administrators have restarted the break-up of one of Britain’s biggest care home providers. 

Four Seasons Health Care’s Northern Irish arm, which has 42 homes, has been put back up for sale.

Restructuring group Alvarez and Marsal has overseen Four Seasons since its parent company collapsed in April. 

The latest sales process is at an early stage and comes as the UK’s care home companies are struggling to stay afloat during the pandemic. 

A source close to the deal said the sale of the operations in Northern Ireland made ‘strategic sense’.
