Music lovers’ garage sale to take place at Jacobs Pavilion

CLEVELAND, Ohio — There might not be any concerts at Jacobs Pavilion this season, but there will still be music at the venue this Saturday, Oct. 10.

An open-air “Music and Friends” garage sale will take place at the venue from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, featuring sales from local musicians, rock photographers, writers and more.

The garage sale is open to the public and free to attend, with free parking. Masks will be required for all sellers and attendees, and social distancing is encouraged, according to event organizer Sue Csendes.

What’s for sale at the event? Csendes said attendees can expect vinyl, cassettes, concert t-shirts, rock-inspired art, posters and music gear including drum kits.

Csendes was inspired to start the event when she was furloughed from her work as a LiveNation employee — she clarified that the Music and Friends garage sale is not a LiveNation event.

Vendors include The Grog Shop, photographers Joe Kleon and Janet Macoska, musician Marky Ray and plenty more, according to the Facebook event. A food truck, Smoke This: Craft Pit BBQ and Catering, will also be onsite from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.

You can find more information about the garage sale, including listings of specific items for sale, at its Facebook event.
